I am posting this for a friend, this a courtesy post, not a Pleas for Paws kitty but a kitty in need of a new home all the same. We have three weeks to find beautiful ZZ a new home, she is in Halifax right now but my friend is willing to fly to St.Johns to bring her to a good home. Due to a change in her work situation, she will have to be on the road for at least a year and ZZ would not be happy travelling around in a car for over a year ! SO PLEASE SHARE WITH YOUR NEWFOUNDLAND AND NOVA SCOTIA FRIENDS - CONTACT ME IF YOU CAN HELP !! Heres what her family has to say: At 12 years old ZZ is still young at heart. Though her favourite habit is sleeping, she also enjoys hanging out with you when you watch TV or read. She likes company but is also very independent - she doesn’t jump up on tables or sleep on beds or sofas. she prefers her cat bed or a quiet corner. Her hair is short so she doesn’t shed much and front claws are missing so she doesn’t scratch furniture. She doesn’t pester or cry or insist on much attention. As I said, she mostly just enjoys hanging out in companionable silence, which make her great company in good times and bad. And oh yeah, she usually greets you at the door when you come home. 😊 She has a clean bill of health, has never had fleas or worms, and is an indoor cat (mostly due to the lack of claws). I am more than willing to travel home to St. Johns to bring her to someone who might be able to offer her a home.
