I am reading in Acts 16 where the Apostle Paul had plans to go to Asia, but God interrupted those plans, and His steps were directed to Macedonia. *There he met a lady named Lydia, whose heart was opened by God the Bible says, and her whole family came to faith in Christ, when he presented the gospel to her! *Then in the same chapter, Paul and Silas were throne into prison in Philippi and began to sing and praise God, when suddenly a miracle took place, an earthquake! The prison doors flew open, and the keeper was about to commit suicide when Paul, cried out to him! Dude, dont do it! Well he didnt say that, but that is the T.S. version! *The gospel was presented to the jailer, and he and his entire family came to faith in Jesus Christ! So though many things stand out in Acts 16, there are two things in particular that are Holy Spirit, flashing lights at this moment to me: 1.) When Paul didnt carry out his plan, and go to Asia, but immediately followed the Holy Spirits command, God did a work through him that was out of this world! Wow! (He would never have encountered those people had he disobeyed God!) 2.) I am not ashamed of the Gospel of Christ, it is the power of God unto salvation, to everyone who believes, and all whose hearts the Lord opens!
