I am really excited now and wanted to share this bit of news: I just received the results of my students evaluations of me from my first term of teaching full-time at UIC Business School. On the first question, the broad question of How would you rate the teachers overall effectiveness?, with 1 being Poor and 5 being Excellent, my average rating across all five sections that I taught was 4.6! There were, to be candid, some more specific questions where I wasnt as strong, and where I know I have room for improvement. But man, I am really excited about these results. The Improv for Business courses that I get to teach at UIC change lives, and it makes my day to see the students recognizing my effectiveness as a teacher. I believe that just about everything Ive done in my strange business and comedy career has prepared me in a unique and improbable way for this exciting new career. I actually think I might want to do this job for the rest of my working life.
