I am selling this beautiful Cannondale R500 48cm road bike. It was my sons while he tried to decide if he wanted to pursue road riding when he was little. He even got a 3rd place in a local kids TT on it. It has an eclectic mix of componentry. Shifters are Shimano Tiara 9spd, RD is Shimano XTR, FD is Tiara, crank is Truvative triple, brakes Tecktro, pedals are Performance hybrid SPD or flat, wheels are nice with Ultegra hubs with Mavic Open Pro clincher rims, tires Conti (worn but with life left), seat post Is Cannondale carbon fiber and stem is Cannondale aluminum. Mechanically, it works nearly flawlessly with sharp shifting, solid braking and true wheels. Asking $300. I realize the wheels and seat post alone are probably worth that, but this bike was sold to me at a very reasonable price by a teammate for my son and I want to get it into another kids hands so they can get into the sport.
