I am terrible at birthdays and now since they changed fb again I really suck. But I want to wish Happy Birthday to My Oma she has been gone only afew years but at times it feels like just last week she was swinging her cane around to wrangle up my kids, or get someones attention. She was always there for me and I tried to be for her too. All the polkas she had us take her to. All the thirft stores she like to visit. Her lovley shopping cart I got to drag around while she shopped. George Webb lunches. The black and white TV and antenna we had to mess with to even watch a show. But we couldnt listen cause we all know talk radio was on all day. When I got older the talks were priceless. But oh the days of jet black hair and deep red lipstick and smooshie lips shed always leave a mark on your cheek with. What I wouldnt give for one of those now. Lol All the wholesome memories that in this day and age are few and far between. I thank her for being the closest relative through all the years.. miss you oma....
