I am the leader of this company, and I have to take responsibility. That is why I am here. Even though we don’t know what’s wrong, the passengers were on my aircraft, and I have to take responsibility for that. Tony Fernandes I do not admire many people in the business world but this man has my full respect. I have been so lucky as to see him in action onboard one of AirAsias flights and was mighty impressed. Taking himself one of the less popular seats at the back of the plane, then engaging the passengers in a singing competition (the winner got 2 return tickets KL-London) and finally walking down the aisle shaking every passengers hand and asking for feedback on what we liked/disliked with the airline!
