I am the only one in the company who can speak Spanish to Blanca, our production team member and I know how happy she is whenever I spend time working with the production team because she has somebody to chat with while working. I was walking with her last Wednesday afternoon from the bank back to the shop after helping her with her paycheck. Out of nowhere, she just happily said with hands in the air: Gracias, Sr. Danny. Siempre pido a Dios me de bendición. Siempre pido a Dios que bendiga a usted cada día porque le ha dado la oportunidad de trabajar con usted. Este trabajo guarda nuestra casa y es una gran bendición para nosotros. which translated in English goes: Thank you Mr. Danny. I always pray to God for blessing me. I always pray to God to bless you everyday because you gave me the chance to work with you. This job saved our house and is a big blessing for us. The way she said it in Spanish was so prolific, almost poetic and most importantly so sincere that I was just silent for a while and just felt peaceful and grateful. She just made me stop and realize that in the midst of the busy and crazy schedules we have the tremendous workload we carry as a team, there is always time for us to pause and thank God for having each other, for working together and for partaking of the blessings and provisions. I drove home that day very light hearted, humming songs randomly. Blanca made me feel good, she made my day and I always pray to God to bless her and our team. I always pray to God not for riches in our company, for Him to keep us going so I can keep the team while we grow this business together!
