I am the owner of a 4 year old Staffordshire bull terrier who I - TopicsExpress

I am the owner of a 4 year old Staffordshire bull terrier who I walk without a lead when in rural parts of the town ie fields and tow path my dog is calm placid and trusted 100% and constantly in my controll, however I find upsetting to be asked by other dog walkers to put her on a lead to which I explain that she is friendly and submissive (as a result of which she has NEVER shown any sign aggression EVER) only to be told by the owner of the other dog that it is in fact their dog that is agressive. This has happened on a number of occasions and was wondering am I in the wrong with my so called "dangerous dog breed" running free or should the owner of the agressive "lap dog" use a muzzle?? Ps go easy on me grammar police :-)
