I am the single mother of twin sons in Baltimore City. I work hard everyday and I take my role of parent VERY seriously. I am concerned about the future for my children - and all children- and I strive to give them the BEST opportunities for learning. Head Start was an answered prayer for our family. However, due to Federal budget cuts, Head Start has to do MORE with LESS, even while there are MORE AND MORE families and children that could benefit from Head Start services.
