I am trying not to be super emotional about this and whether its this house or another house, what I know right now is this: The only thing I have wanted was to be financially independent enough after this divorce to be able to buy my own house. Thats it. Its all Ive ever wanted in this world ... a house, a little land, a pony or two down at the barn, somewhere to grow herbs and food and flowers and raise a couple piglets. maybe a beef cow. I dont need a fancy car or expensive vacations. I just want a life like that. And maybe, now, at 50 years old ... I finally managed to do it. Its a big thing. a very very big thing.
