I am trying really hard to not just lose my faith in America, in my fellow man, in humanity. It all just seems like way too much. In the last 24-48 hours, Ive seen: a young black man gunned down while unarmed a police force close ranks around the cop who did it a suburb riots because an oppressed populace can only take so much talking head asshats try to somehow say all blacks are in the wrong unless the denounce the rioting...while totally downplaying the continuing murdering, brutalization and incarceration of minorities a comedic genius take his own life because of demons that afflict my family an friends and which I barely understand but totally sympathize with more asshats call him selfish and say we shouldnt mourn him, as if he would have done what he did had he not been suffering from a mental DISEASE just as real as diabetes or cancer yet other asshats condemning the mourning of fans because there are regular people hurting and dying elsewhere....as if grief is an either/or proposition. as if I cant mourn Robin AND Gaza AND the starving kids in third world countries AND all that deserve it For the love of all thats holy, what kind of a human race am I member of exactly. Sorry for this rant....but...ENOUGH
