I am up at 2:10 am, so I thought I would actually say something about my wife. She had a really rough day today. Now, I always qualify statements like that by noting, that compared to alot of people it is minimal. Nonetheless, she came home in tears about some work related issues. She is a very conciseness employee,takes much pride in her work. In her position, she has to figure out who, and how much people qualify for govt assistance. Being a conservative,she follows the rules that the govt allows to a T. She believes there are many people who deserve assistance because of a temporary situation need some help. It breaks her heart when someone comes in, and is embarrassed because they need some help,and they have worked hard all their life, but have found themselves in a position of have to humble themselves to ask for help. At the same time, she sees many, many people that abuse the system,and feel entitled to things they do not deserve. They feel that they are owed (entitled) to freebies from the govt. She catches them in lies,and calls them on it. She sees others that do not have her work ethic, and are not as frugal with the taxpayers money. They hand out money as if it is their own. It is much easier to give away taxpayer money,than your own. I am not saying that I give enough,but I know that we help others on our own dime. Being this way, has caused her heartache at work, and most likely caused her a recent promotion. I already know that I am in trouble by my wife for expressing this, but, I never really have cared about the repercussions for my actions. "YOU HAVE TO STAND FOR SOMETHING, OR YOU WILL FALL FOR ANYTHING". Bring it on Kitsauber!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
