I am usually not one to feel a deep emotional hit from the death of a celebrity. Sure, there have been some people that I adored, or grew up watching, but even when they passed it never bothered me overly much since they passed peacefully. Or at least not by their own doing. Robin Williams brought smiles to millions of people for decades. He was an icon of good feelings, and happiness, yet for all of that time spent in the service of others he felt as though he had nothing. That is what makes his death so tragic. The world loved him. The world ADORED him. But in his mind, it just wasnt enough. While Ive seen so many beautiful quotes from this wonderful man, by far the most poignant was this: Poetry, beauty, romance, love - these are what we stay alive for.
