I am very fortunate that i have been embraced and encouraged by friends on Facebook and Instagram. And most of my friends really are special individuals that ive called neighbor, coworkers, family, & friends in my life. But everyday i am amazed online how unkind people are to one another through electronic media. Ive seen life long friends unfriend someone to make a statement of unapproval...but they didnt have to see that persons face as their heart was broken. I just had this very conversation with my kids last night. I said a few phrases that people type with sass....and then asked....could you say those same words to their face? No? If it would be mean in person....then its mean on Facebook. What if we only used electronic media to encourage....and never to hurt and insult? I believe if we began everyday with the intention to BE a blessing....then the blessings we would receive would be immeasurable! You know what would be cool? If everyone who read this went and ENCOURAGED 5 people on Facebook right now! :)
