I am very happy to launch my new book cover for Jewels: The Story of the Founding of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity!! I know the brotherhood of DFH will appreciate this cover design! For those who are not aware, I wrote 2 novels. One based on the founding and the other based on the expansion of the fraternity. Since the first book sold out, I am putting out a Second Edition of that one. The Second Edition is the same story as the First Edition except in the Second Edition, I created something called The Alpha Hashtag History Project. At the top of each page, there is a hashtag which you can search for here on Facebook. The hashtags are facts about individual chapters of Alpha that most brothers probably dont know. To date, I have collected facts from over 170 chapters. For example: #ThetaXi Rev. Bro. Corey Brooks, Sr., pastor of New Beginnings Church in Chicago and Theta Xi Chapter initiate, made national headlines when he spent three months living on top of an abandoned motel to call attention to the violence plaguing the Chicago community and to raise money for the cause. The pre-orders will begin on October 30th, the anniversary of the first Alpha banquet. Both books can be ordered at jewels1906.
