I am very happy to say that I have been hired as a Pool Nurse at Lake Chelan Community Hospital!!! It has been a long road getting here but I am finally past not only my education, but two back surgeries (One of which came with a code as I tried to check out of life on day two in the hospital!!) I cant wait to start my orientation on Friday and Monday then it is off to my training in the three different divisions within the hospital: Chemical Dependency, Med/Surg, and the E.D. I am very happy to have a chance to work in the town I was born in and look forward to the varied types of healthcare issues which present at a small rural hospital. Here is me in my whites. I donated my three sets to the SNOW club at Wenatchee Valley College (Student Nurses Of Wenatchee) so they could raise a little money for the club and someone could get a descent deal on a set as these suckers are expensive!!!
