I am very impressed with my moms surgeon. Not only a highly skilled surgeon, He actually prayed with us before my mom went into surgery. I have to say in all my years in health care I never heard a surgeon even offer to pray with and for a patient and family. I am grateful my mother allowed me to do healing touch, anoint and pray with her before surgery. I witnessed a group of Vietnam vets praying together for a friend in the surgical waiting room. Prayer was free flowing, it was comforting.
