I am very thankful for all your happy birthday wishes! They have reminded me of the wonderful memories my life has been filled with and how thankful I am to have each of you. I am humbled. Now I will share something with all of you that is changing my life forever. Some of you know my Father has been suffering from Alzheimers for the past several years. My Mother has been his soul mate for 49 plus years. Her burden of providing 24 hour care has reached a point that I fear for the health of my Mom. We have come to terms with the need for my Dad to enter a home. It has been no easy decision for me or my Mother. I refuse to lose my Mothers health along with my Father. I say all this to say pray for my Mom, pray for my Dad, and pray that some day Alzheimers will be a disease of the past.
