I am writing this post this morning with a heavy heart and a little bit of anger. I understand that when you live in a small community and a tragedy happens people will talk. Especially when it is something so horrific and sad as the death of a local woman. I personally did not know Melanie but someone VERY dear to us does and this has effected these people so deeply. But I wonder as people are talking about this and SPREADING rumors without actual facts do they realize that she is someones daughter,sister, aunt and friend? She is someones LOVED ONE. PLEASE.PLEASE before you repeat stories you hear remember that if this was someone who held a place in your heart would you want people making assumptions and talking as though they know exactly what happened? If you want to talk, I think that maybe you should get on your knees and talk to our Heavenly Father and be grateful for our blessings and pray that this family can find some comfort somehow. I cannot imagine what they are going through and it breaks my heart to know that someone is going through this.
