I apologize in advance for the long post, but I just had to share - TopicsExpress

I apologize in advance for the long post, but I just had to share this. I love God and how He watches over me! He is truly awesome! Yesterday, I took the girls and my god daughter to Disneyland. When we arrived at 3 p.m., the parking attendant told us that Disneyland was filled to capacity and we could only go to California Adventure. When I told him that I already bought our tickets online he said we may be able to still get in and he wouldnt charge me for parking. We got to the entrance and were able to go inside Disneyland without any hesitation. The girls and I all had a wonderful time. We left the park at about midnight and when I got on the freeway, I noticed my Check Engine Soon light came on and my temperature gauge was at high. I began to get nervous because the last time that happened, my car died on me. After I dropped my god daughter off I just prayed, Lord, please just get us home safely. The girls were in the back sit sleep while I drove on the 405 North heading home. As I neared toward the 110 interchange, I felt my car begin to jerk as the temperature gauge stayed on high. I knew it was just a matter of time before my car was going to die, so I began making my way toward to the shoulder. Just before I made it all the way over, it just died. I was able to coast just enough to get my front end over, but my back end was still in the right lane. I just kept praying, God, just keep us safe. I pray that no one hits us. I put my hazards lights on, called AAA and the person I spoke to realized that this was an unsafe situation, so he dispatched the police and a tow truck. He stayed on the line with me until the truck and police came.He said he was surprised I was so calm. I knew that God has given me peace because I knew that He was in charge. Soon after that, a man pulled over in front of me and walked over to my car to see if I was ok. I told him my car died and he offered to push the rest of my car onto the shoulder then he offered to wait with me outside until the tow truck driver and police came. God is so awesome! Everyone finally arrived and the Good Samaritan, named Brian, shook my hand, got back in his car, and drove off. The tow truck driver, pulled up helped me get the sleeping girls out of my car and into his warm truck. (By the way, it was 47 degrees outside and the heater would not work in my car.) I am so blessed and thankful that God is my provider and He is always watching over me and my girls. In spite of all of this, I know that He is always in control and He blesses me so much!!!😊
