I ask? Nigerians and Titles: Addressing a typical Nigerian: Prof, Dr, Engr, Pharm, Sir, Lady, Prophet, Chief, Bar, Major, Evangelist, Venerable, Bishop, Magistrate, Ambassador, Senator, Hon, etc A. B. Xyz. And in politics and public service he says he is a servant of the people. Our sense of commitment to the cause of Nigeria will serve better if we include “Servant” in the list of these titles. I ask; what happened to the Nigerian Guardian Newspapers days of Stanley Macebuah when the paper simply used “Mr” in place of these titles; was it a wrong introduction?
