Since were part of the Universe were influenced by the universal energies occurring at any given time. A simple example of this is the weather. If youre in Australia at the moment youre probably experiencing some very warm days (or even incredibly hot ones). However, if youre in Europe youll be experiencing some very different conditions. If you went for a walk in Australia dressed appropriately for Europe youd potentially suffer heat stroke while if you reversed the situation youd possibly freeze. On a universal level were experiencing a similar situation and yet, because its subtler, were not as aware of it. But, just because were not conscious of it doesnt mean its not having an impact. The birth time shows us how were being influenced specifically at that time. This determines what areas of our life each planet impacts. So, if we have two people born at exactly the same moment in time but on opposite sides of the Earth theyll have similar charts in that the relationships between the planets will be the same but their influences will operate very differently for each person. For example a person with the Sun in the second house (come to our course to find out what that means) will get their security based on acquiring wealth through their own efforts while someone with the Sun in the eighth house (directly opposite the second) will see their results coming more from others and through things like gifts. The other important thing about the birth time is when we explore Sabian symbols (a separate symbol for each degree of the zodiac). Depending on the position of certain elements in a chart the Sabian symbols become critical in understanding who we are, what our life purpose is, how we see the world and how others see us. In order to get the Sabian symbols right we need the birth time correct within four minutes.
