I asked my youngest son this morning if he knew which of the world religions was the largest. He said, "Consumerism" and although the consumerist is not recognized as a religious component, indeed I would agree. The western capitalist nations likely expend more resources on the accumulation of material things and entertainment than is required to feed, cloth and shelter all the destitute nations of the world. Simplify your life and limit your expenditure one week a month. Use the money or time you save to do good for others who are in need.
