I believe that many of essential oils users worry about the safety issues when essential oils taken internally. I have been informed by at least 3 people taking high doses frankincense essential oil or enriched frankincense formula for at least 2-3 months. So far, AST and ALT (blood markers for monitoring liver function) and creatinine (blood marker for monitoring kidney function) remained within normal ranges. However, more people need to be followed for longer period of time. I personally hope that we will be able to publish these 3 cases by the end of this year. The next question will be efficacy and potency. For each pharmaceutical drug development, it takes an average of 20-30 million dollars to complete a Phase I clinical trial. This is the reason that I need resources and money to move forward the project. I cannot go on like this with no budget forever.
