I believe that some people have forgotten that there are African-American/Blacks still alive today that had first-hand experiences with extreme overt racism in these United States of America. I am one of those African-American/Blacks who worked in a Hotel in my Home Town that I could not enter from the front door. The seat of so-called justice, the County Court House had white only water fountains and bathrooms. African-American/Black people were not allowed to try on shoes prior to buying them. Many of our MOTHERS were the HELP that the world viewed when the movie “The Help” played in theaters throughout the nation. Many African-American/Blacks remember segregated movie theaters, segregated swimming pools and even segregated Parks. We are still alive today and we know what “White Privilege look and feel like”. Some of you might not know about these things; however, we will never forget. Thank God that African-American/Blacks know what Emotional Intelligence really mean. We’ve lived it and we have to use EI on a daily basis. Thank you Don - Please view the video below...
