I believe that you should judge a man (or woman) not by their professed political, religious, or social affiliations, but by their deeds. If you look at the body of work of these two individuals that are being called soldiers of this war for our dignity without jaded eyes, you find much too much ambiguous activity to hang such an undeserving platitude on them. By and large, at the end of the day, these two Reverends are, and have always been, self-serving loud-mouthed spokesmen and gifted orators in espousing the emotional feel good rhetoric that excites Black folk. Their cozy relationship with the FBI as informants and co-conspirators are a matter of record. The 1998 Martin Luther King Jr. trial in which mainstream national media did much to blackout revealed enough information of Jesse Jacksons complicity in the assassination that no worthy organization or group of people advocating for justice should ever give this Judas a platform to speak. The same selfish jealous character that enabled him to conspire with others to assassinate MLK came to light on an open mic when he attempted to assassinate the character of then Presidential candidate Barack Obama. If you are truly a progressive, it would serve you well to steer clear of this Benedict Arnold and those like him.
