I believe there are many people, like me, who changed their entire lives after 9-11-2001. Because of that day, I joined the Molalla Fire Department, started working for FEMA and now work for the American Red Cross. I believe there are people all over this country who give a little more and take better care of their neighbors. That is one of the great unintended consequences of that horrible day. To all who serve - Military, fire, police, EMS, disaster relief...Thank you. To those we lost...we honor you by treating people better and making every day count. Today, if you havent made a change in your life as a result of 9-11, make a donation (blood or money), ask your fire department if they need help, tell those around you that you love them....become part of the unintended consequences.
