I call for a community and pd meeting. One where every member is obligated to attend and where burmudez answers to not only his village and salary payers but to his entire team of subordinates. These officers are in just as much of harms way as anyone and its time Mayor Kennedy, Carmen, Ron, Bill, and George Do something! We need community outreach. Not more meetings with them sitting above the community. We need them walking this community and letting them know they are here watching. We need them asking what they can do to help. Get Bermudez out and put a qualified chief in but regardless of that the mayor is the commander in chief of those officers so lets get it together!!! Now! I have marched on the steps of village hall and I will gladly do it again until I see a change in this town I love. The community watch program must be started immediately and the auxiliary police has to be ignited. These homes need to be cleared out and torn down. This village is angry and every last official we have either elected or hired should be concerned for their job security. A few new façades on buildings will not fix the menace we all have as neighbors. It will not keep Roosevelt and Hempstead out of our hamlet. Get this together and lets all together demand a response!
