I can actually hear the thrilled voices when the writers and director pitched this idea at Disneys HQ back in, probably 1977!!! You know that movie that is a COMPLETE success that is just out, Star Wars? Yeah, listen to this idea: On the edge of a black whole, the crew of a spaceship... Look, whatever, this is a freaking AWESOME script and... and LOOK HOW MUCH MONEY STAR WARS IS MAKING?!?! /silence... Ok... How much do you need? Ehm, Star Wars costed $10.000.000... Id say, we can pull this for THE DOUBLE!!! Ok? /silence... /long silence... Ok. Ladies and gentlemen. Enjoy the trailer, it is well worth the money. And please, notice all references to Star Wars. Boosted up a little just to make the investment REEEALLY worth it. Like for instance, the winding eyes or R3D3, the FIVE laser beams from his laser gun (why go with one? its so totally done!) and... make sure the logo for the movie is the funkiest of all times!! Finally, try to imagine the directions to the extras acting as storm troopers as they show up in a squad for the first time just about exactly one minute into the clip.
