I can never stress the importance of presenting yoself as a South African at any SA Mission around the world. We r not doing jails this time in the UAE but like the true Social Development Ambassadors, we heard tht in Dubai, there are South Africans serving time for signing illegal documents written in Arabic. Always present yoself to the SA Mission just in case there is a war, disaster or even the disaster of getting documents for signature written in a foreign language. Kota Nomfanelo, this needs better communication. Im getting more fascinated by the story of a South African serving time in a foreign jail! Where are their children? Who is looking after them back home? Support for the families at home. I dont want to think of the story of the woman serving time in a foreign jail....... The first mtng starts in 30mins. We r in Doha for the World Social Protection Forum organised by the International Social Security Association (ISSA). South Africa is a member of ISSA. ISSA is the principal international institution bringing together social security agencies and organisations for the promotion of social security as the social dimension in a globalising world by supporting excellence in social assistance administration.
