I can now confirm that the government of Ekiti State under the leadership of Dr. Peter Ayodele Fayose has released fund for the payment of salary of civil servants for the month of December to the banks doings businesses with us. We apologize for the delay in the payment which was caused by situations beyond our control. I can assure all and sundry that Fayose is committed to the welfare of workers and the people of the state at large. And to my APC friends that may want to hurl insult on the person of Governor Ayo Fayose over the latest development, i wish to inform them that the entire labour forces in the neighboring Osun State have not been paid their October, November and December Salaries. Information has it that only workers from level 1 to 6 had collected October salary in Osun State. Also, i am pleased to inform my APC friends that the oil-rich Rivers State has not paid December salary to her Civil Servants. November Salary was paid last week in Rivers State. Oyo, Edo and Ogun State Governments, i learnt have not paid December salary. Merry Christmas to you all.
