I cant even begin to respond to all the positive comments that have come in over the past few days. Im doing my best to get through my chris@pirillo inbox alone, and am still at 75 messages (with the Game of Thrones Season 4 premiere happening later and tonights vlog waiting to be edited). Im overwhelmed - in the best way possible. Ive heard from so many people who have been inspired by the things Ive said, the things Ive done. Thats amazeballs. My challenge has been to take those bits of inspiration and parlay them into something that works in reverse. :) People have offered to help solve a problem that wasnt very well explained in yesterdays now-unlisted, impromptu broadcast. Its not a matter of needing to find a host to save costs, its in creating something that the community wants. While I would love to develop a great community rally point online, I just cant. It doesnt work well, anymore. I cant afford it, I cant develop it, I cant sustain it. Im forced to shutter forums not because of hosting costs, but because their value ebbs and flows. When something breaks, I have to figure out how to fix it. A few of you have told me that Im not a commodity in your heart or head - which is great. The challenge is in finding a spot that can sustain my value in your life. Using tools off-the-shelf can only bring me so far, and with the proliferation of social in our respective lives... I believe I know where I need to double-down / focus. Video.
