I cant even put what Im feeling into words. Michael Brown mattered. Trayvon Martin mattered. Tamir Rice mattered. My friends who were tear gassed and within sniper shooting range tonight matter. My family matters. I MATTER. I am absolutely sick to my stomach for St. Louis right now. My city. My second home. When will the blatant disregard for Black lives in this country end? I dont know why the injustice still surprises me, but its like a punch to the gut. Every. Single. Time. I just...Im so overwhelmed.
