I cant lie, Im really disappointed (though not surprised, I knew this was going to be the result). That being said - Scotland has made its decision, and we have to accept it. My biggest fear now is that the reign of posh Eton boys will continue under the impression that Scots will happily accept being shat upon and given leftovers. I also cannot trust or believe a word of these new powers until I see it. Im disappointed, Scotland - and surprisingly, it looks like the majority of my friends are feeling the same. Im worried and fearful of the future now. I wish I could believe that things will get better - but I just cant shake the feeling that this is going to be the start of a rocky road to social inequality and unfairness, with a bigger divide in classes. To those who did vote No - congratulations. Although I disagree, Id like to think if the result were the other way round youd be congratulating us. To the other Yes voters, and of which there are many, congratulations. We fought a long hard battle with honesty, positivity and a renewed sense of pride in our country. Its been brilliant to engage with you and discuss our hopes for future generations. Today we mourn, tomorrow we hope.
