I cant still understand the melodramatic faculty of some of the Nigerian youths reasoning. I found it still difficult to believe that some articulated & enlightened youths prefers our age-long Suffering & smiling attitude via ill-democratic atmosphere just because they are fortunate to be Amongst the few or related/close to those connected to the milking & mashing the treasury of The Nigerian nation. Why would an average youth in Nigeria still campaigning for the continuity Of the PDP at the central government...even at the state? Is there any form of sanity in such ideology? In fact, I cant just fashion out the nitty-gritty behind some youths facilitated terminology to the Definition of political sceneries even when its glaring that everything is falling apart...how long Would our selfish individual interest be persisted before we realized how foolish we had been: Maybe when our country cascades in synonymous to the anarchy era of the Somalia Republic? Since 1999 when PDP first ascend the throne of the central government, we heard all wagons of Bogus promises about Nigeria & Nigerians. After 15 years, those promises which were still repeated After 2003, 2007 & 2011 had been translated to fathom & unattainable programmes: electricity which Was just epileptic in 1999, is today gradually turning into a moribund or half-demise! Portable water Has gradually be replaced by mai ruwa in the north; commercial borehole & water tankers in the south! Good houses have become properties solely for the wealthy class as mortgage system which would have Made the poorer class have access to good houses has be branded irrelevant! All the full employment we Were promised has suddenly gave way to youth restiveness & crime due to perpetual idleness & unbearably Unending poverty resulted from unemployment..is this not actually the cause of the insurgency in Nigeria today? These are just about a one-tenth of the PDP promises which have been transformed to voicemail over the period... Why do we still garner enthusiasm to trend the path which has not yielded positivism in 15 years? I am personally not interested in who heads the government of my country emanates from but I am particularly concerned About the head of Nigerian government who will bring good changes to the welfare & norms of Nigerian citizens. Now, Nigerians are being killed in large numbers in the northeast & many had been forced out of their ancestral home to become Refugees in their own country, yet the central government made us believe that its handicapped by another stronger Organ in the land. Now answer this question: apart from God-the Creator, who again is more powerful than the government of the land? My own response to this is simply: the worms that eat or destroy the carcass live within the carcass.... If the Nigerian youths realize that they would be the biggest losers in event of a calamity like war or haphazard crisis outbreak, then its high Time we shunned individual gains & interest so as to enthrone distinctly selfless leaders to our central government in the next general Election. Although they have perfected the tune to orchestrating the melody of corruption as now a phenomenon in the Nigerian Society; yet never you allow such negativity to be stagnated to your reasoning. Nigeria can be freed of corruption in a gradual process Just as late President Yaradua curb the Niger Delta militancy via innovated amnesty programme. He didnt cause the problem that Resulted in Niger Delta militancy, yet he proffered a solution to it! What a genus! Such determined & creative leader is what we need for Our country now. Not cabal/occult that has all its members as professors of BLAME GAME instead of curbing a stinging national dilemma! WE NEED A CHANGE OF GOVERNMENT! -SMS
