I cant understand what kind of traditions people are following... These kind of celebrations are an innovation in Islamic worship as it was not instructed by the Prophet (PBUH) nor was it done by his companions. When Islam is perfect and complete then who gave the authority to these people to introduce new things in Islam? Wont u call it Blasphemy now??? We should all condemn these kind of acts and try to stop them. May Allah guide us all to the right path.
