I concede that I do not attend MENSA luncheons. I also understand that intelligence is subdivided into Concrete and Abstract. I am fortunate to have my share of both. I recall one day arriving for a college class and all of the students were congregated in the hallway. I asked why everyone was milling in the hallway and someone answered, "The door is shut." I walked over and opened the unlocked door and turned on the lights. Everyone entered the classroom and found a seat and waited for the instructor in the classroom. To this day, I am befuddled that no one thought to try to open the door to a room of which they had a right to be in. I suppose I would prefer to be around people that are honest enough to not attempt to open a door to a room where they have privilege to be, rather than to be amongst those that open doors to places where they do not belong.
