I continue to try to photograph my meadow rue, even though its tricky, because I love it so. Something about its airy shape and tiny delicate blooms is just so appealing to me. And the height! A foot taller than me! I dont allow much yellow in my garden, but I make an exception for this one. I tried pruning my butterfly bush back hard for the first time this year, because Im pretty sure some site on the internet told me I should, and I was a little worried that Id killed it, because it took so long to grow fully back. But now it looks healthy, and Ive just noticed the first blooms on it. So, yay! And theres the Dark Lady, just one bloom on this bush, a solitary beauty.
