I continuously hear many non Arabs or Muslim stating that the Muslim leadership around the world needs to speak up and stand up against terrorism. While I totally agree, many times these actions are taken over and over but Western media will not cover it due to political stances on issues in the Middle East. I have taken the liberty to add English subtitles to part of a speech given recently by one of the most prominent Muslim and political figures in the #Arab (non Muslim) and Muslim world in #Beirut, #Lebanon on the threat of terrorism within the Middle East and the entire world, ranging from Europe and Western nations and also the threat on Islam itself within the Muslim communities both within the Middle East and #European and Western nations. I dont usually post #political/#religious posts much these days, but the recent events in #Sydney has touched every #Australian, Muslim or not. I have added subtitles for predominately my non #Arabic speaking friends for you to understand and spread the word that in the Muslim communities across the world there are voices who oppose this ideology and who stand and speak out against them and for the protection of innocent lives whether you are in Australia, America, England or in the conflict zones of the Middle East. I dont care whether you are #Shia, #Sunni, Alawi, #Druze, #Christian, or belong to any other #sect or #religion..
