I copied and pasted this in response to a meme Ive seen several times about the seven states in this country that committed Insurrection by passing a law that disallows Atheists from serving as politicians in those states: All debts contracted and engagements entered into, before the adoption of this Constitution, shall be as valid against the United States under this Constitution, as under the Confederation. This Constitution, and the laws of the United States which shall be made in pursuance thereof; and all treaties made, or which shall be made, under the authority of the United States, shall be the supreme law of the land; and the judges in every state shall be bound thereby, anything in the Constitution or laws of any State to the contrary notwithstanding. The Senators and Representatives before mentioned, and the members of the several state legislatures, and all executive and judicial officers, both of the United States and of the several states, shall be bound by oath or affirmation, to support this Constitution; but no religious test shall ever be required as a qualification to any office or public trust under the United States. That, my friends, is Article 6 of the Constitution. The ban on banning Atheists from serving in office is in the third paragraph. Just as important is what the second paragraph says, which is known in judicial circles as the Supremacy Clause. The Supremacy Clause essentially nullifies the arguments of the Tenthers (radical 10th Amendment advocates). You seen me write, many times, that nearly every GOP politician in this country is guilty of Insurrection or Sedition, with many of them being guilty of BOTH...the ban on Atheists serving as state politicians is Insurrection. So is any other law the GOP have passed and signed that directly conflicts with the Constitution. Because every GOP politician is guilty of Insurrection or Sedition (or both, in many cases), USAG Eric Holder could simply indict, arrest and prosecute them for it. But, the question I see most is, if Holder can do that, why doesnt he? Sadly, people, he hasnt the balls or spine to do it. I know that, if I were the USAG, Id have ALREADY indicted, arrested and convicted those Fascist, Insurrectionist and Seditious obstructionists....
