I could feel upset that after years of 80-100 hour weeks, working every weekend, generally giving up my life to give my boys everything I could and still be left with a large mortgage and having to work stupid hours, I then read on Facebook my 21 yr old son advertising for a PA at £14 an hour, but Im not. As much as I personally would love a PA, and have often thought how useful one would be over the years, Ive never been able to consider it, the NHS is and always will be run on a shoestring. It would be seen as extravagant. Im really, really proud hes setting off in the right way, building to succeed, getting the right team around him and not overstretching himself. Looking back, I could only do what Ive done because of the people Ive worked with, and the support theyve given me. So if anyone knows of a completer-finisher with OCD, (my suggestion from experience, not his!), who doesnt mind working with a bit of a younger version of Delboy, for 2 days a week in London, speak to Dominic .
