I debated about putting this on here, but as a therapist, Im raw and real. I like seeing people post about how they love being a mother and dont get me wrong, I do too. And I would give my life for my kids, but sometimes I just want to scream, WHO ELSE IS STRUGGLING??? Parenting isnt for the faint of heart. It is hard and horribly painful. I find myself saying I cant do this or praying that they dont end up too scarred from my impatience or my sighs when they call me for the thousandth time or my frustrated tone. Sometimes it feels like I get one childs problem straightened out and another child has something else come up. I know thats life. I guess I wanted to balance out all the picture perfect Facebook posts on the newsfeed with a not so pretty but real look at what happens at my house sometimes. :)
