I decided, to go down to Walmart to Ad match the new Publix Ad. As you all know, I found out a few days ago that Walmart also takes Publix Coupons off of an item, I was in shock about that, I thought wow, it will not be long and Walmart will go bankrupt! Tonight was the first time I tried to do this, I bought six Glade Candles, they are BOGO at Publix, I have a $1.50/2 mfg coupon and a $1.50/1 Publix coupon I was very excited Keep in mind this is only the 3rd time I have Ad matched, the first time went wrong because they would only take one coupon for the item I paid for and not the free item, she told me at that trip they no longer allowed two coupons on BOGOs, the second time I Ad matched, well.... I just walked out, it was a little bit of everything that they said I could not do! Now, the 3 rd time... I had six Glade Candles, one Pumpkin Pie, six bottles of Suave lotion, One Bic lighter, two boxes of Nabisco Crackers I should have paid under $3.00! I put my coupons on top of the items and the next thing I know I am being scolded for trying to use Publix coupons, she went as far as putting a printed up piece of paper in fro t of me stating as of Friday they no longer accept Publix off coupons and the night manager started calling codes over the intercom at the register, I started laughing! So yea they changed the rule again folks! I ended up paying $10.00 for a pie, six lotions and two boxes of Nabisco crackers which is o.k but the Publix coupons are no longer accepted! It wont be long and they will stop Ad matching as well! By the way they Suave lotion is a great deal yall, its $1.83 each, there is a coupon in RP $1.50/1 in last weeks inserts it makes the lotion only .33 each, also if you can get lucky and find the bottles of Tresemme, they are $2.48 and there is a $5/2 in RP from last weeks inserts! I guess if you do like me and go late at night to void the long lines and empty shelves, it would be worth Ad matching BOGOs, I dont recommend buying bakery items because they are nowhere as good as Publix Bakery but as far as personal and household items yes, it is cheaper sometimes! Nabisco ritz crackers are BOGO at Publix for $4.59, they are $2.50 at Walmart I had a $1/2 coupon so I paid $1.50 for two boxes to eat with my cracker barrel cheese I got tonight at my favorite store Publix!! One more thing, did I mention, I thought the cashier and night CSM were going to drop kick me from the way they acted lol and I was being nice, go figure!
