I decided to write this post after a night of sleep so that I could fully digest what I have experienced as a Martinsburg High School football fan over the last 5 years: 1) 65 wins in 69 games; 2) 4 consecutive AAA state championships; 3) no losses to a WVa school until yesterday; 4) incredible commeraderie with the coaching staff and true die in the wool Dog fans; 5) tremendous respect for the dedication, ethic, and the desire that these young men are afforded by this coaching staff ( which, in case anyone just woke up today, is supreme in this state) to be nothing short of the best. Streaks come to an end for a reason, but this not the end of Bulldog football as there is youth a rising, the weight room and facility is open, the Coaches continue to teach and mentor, and the hard work will never end. Dont sell these young men short, and never, ever, give up on this program. 2015 will be here before you know it. So thankful to have and continue to be along for the ride
