I despise Time Warner Cable with a white-hot passion. Its premium service is the epitome of poor service, unreliable technology, overpricing, unsatisfactory customer assistance and a practice of not giving a damn because the company has quasi-monopoly on the market in which I live. One tiny but typical example: Tonight I tried to access an on-demand program. It, consecutively, froze so I had to reboot the cable box, then, when I selected a channel, it jumped to another channel, then stalled so I had to find a way to access yet another channel to break out of the freeze, then wait while -- with me doing nothing to cause it -- TWC jumped to a different on-demand channel, then jumped to a program I had not requested, then jumped to a message telling me the service I requested was not available and advised me to try again later at an unspecified interval, then jumped to the program I originally sought! WTF! This happens regularly and Customer Service NEVER is able to solve this conundrum. But, rest assured, the monthly bill arrives like clockwork.
