I didnt get to finish my time at West Point, but I definitely connected with a lot of great people there. I dont know how my life wouldve been affected had I graduated and been deployed but I do know a little about military relationships. There is a blue curtain of sorts that keeps people from throwing each other under the bus. As good as I may think that is at times, there are instances when something is so wrong that you need to go against the grain and stand up for your beliefs and the oath that you are sworn to protect. Thomas Roberts was one of my classmates at USMA. (Im sure with all the shenanigans we were a part of up there this post is catching him off guard) Roberts stood up for what was right during his time in Afghanistan, and Im damn proud to call him a friend. Heres to you bud. Hope youre doing well.
