I didnt know that teaching would bring happiness in ones life. I never imagined myself in a teachers uniform. Neither I saw myself writing with chalk. I thought I wont be in the same profession my mom raised me because I happened to taste the fruit of her sacrifices. I saw and helped her in the loads of work she had brought at home, test papers to check (which I always get excited to because I got the chance to see how my crushes scored in the test =) ), form-18s (which I hated the most, youll have to fill out six forms of it, three copies each for the list of male and female students that she had, specifically her advisory), form-137 and 138 (which we always checked together to assure that there would be lesser or no errors shed get during the actual checking at school). These are just some of the things I didnt know I would enjoy when I became like her. Teachers, indeed do a laborious work, yet dont get compensated enough. I wont pretend that its just okay as long as I see my students learn as I teach because life gets expensive as days pass. But a year teaching showed me that its not the compensation that counts in a teachers life, the influence a teacher leaves to a students life. No one knows where it stops. Teachers are influential..Beware! =)
