I didnt partake in the challenge this year.. sort of blatantly ignored its existence. So, now that I NEED to buy a house… Its a perfect time to hunker down and join in…. especially when Im starting to work full time at my favourite store (Canadian Tire) as of the 5th. THere is one big thing I want to purchase from CT though -- a welder. But thats a business expense, and we need it for when we get our own space! So Ill try sell shit to buy it. But otherwise, Im going to try not to buy every sweet deal, even if its for the business… But we will be purchasing things for the business, I know this already. As an incentive to avoid always purchasing things, Id like to visit our blacksmithing mentor in the US regularly - put the money to good use! The one thing I always do though, is spend my extra $$ on Food! God I love food! and eating junk. So Im gonna make a budget and stick to it - Ive been making bread rather than buying it lately, so Ill try stick to that! And I wanna make stews and things that go a long way with a lot of hearty value in them, rather than one-off meals that satisfy you only for one day. Im not sure if Ill garden, if anything Ill help Kriev Krievins family garden… because I tend to go out of town a lot and my family just didnt take care of it last time. But I may plant some low maintenance plants… Hmmm well at least I dont have a fetish for makeup or buying clothes -- I do a lot of tradesies for clothing or other fun things. I didnt buy any clothes or makeup this year or probably in the last 5 hahahaa. Krievs sister just bought me some sweet winter boots from sally anne though! theyre amazing. I think my biggest weakness will be steel or things for the garage. Lets see what tempts me! PS. one thing I like about the challenge, is I feel like it will make me feel like Im not as poor! hahaa Cause man, Im broke. Now Ill put my money to good use and try not to sob. Pinch pennies, and stop gorging. Pound steel to keep me busy -- and hopefully make money! I need $20, 000 by the summer -- Ill let you know how I do! :D
