I didnt realize its been so long since there had been an update, sorry everyone we have been super busy over the past three weeks lots of planning and enjoying the end of our summer. Lil man enjoyed an eventful two weeks chemo free, we went to the fair to the zoo and got to help raise pediatric cancer awareness with TEAM Keegan. Last Tuesday lil man started his LAST four week chemo cycle...yep his LAST four weeks! His official last chemo date is August 19!! Chemo 39 didnt go ideally accessing went the best it has in a really long time, with the help of Miss Audra the new child life specialist. However lil man needed to receive Pentam, an antibiotic to prevent lung infections, but the nurse set the infusion to run too quickly and lil man got really sick....it was a big bummer. I got them to slow the infusion down and he came around and felt better and slept all through the infusion. The day after was good lil man drank juice and water but wouldnt eat. Thursday however he ate like the bottomless pit we know he can be. ONLY 3 more chemo days!!! Lil man heads back on tuesday for chemo 40, please continue to pray for good counts and easy infusion for our sweet boy we are sooooo close to DONE!
