I do a lot of interesting dental cases every year but this maybe the most unusual tooth Ive ever extracted. This incisor looks almost like someone attempted to reduce it with a cut off wheel at some point, or perhaps it started out as a small caries lesion (cavity) or enamel defect... I will never know for sure but the tooth was a wroted three quarters of the way through the ground where exposure of the pulp canal. The rich has lost its normal architecture and become very round and large indicating a chronic inflammatory process we have come to refer as EOTRH.
